Gonna do, gonna do ....

Well, I was going to post some piccies of stuff that I have done previously but. I have been going non-stop for several days (after taking Wednesday afternoon off to visit with pals.) Some of which does include craft, of course. When visiting our Craft Group on Thursday afternoon (I didn't think I'd make it, but another appointment had been cancelled) I found out that the group are planning a trip to House of Dun at Montrose at the beginning of July, and the main part of the visit includes seeing the huge weaving looms they have there. Should be a lovely day, especially as there will be shopping and cakes involved!

Current projects: attempting card-making, thinking up what to do for our Craft Group Comp.

This ain't thifty!

Yep, yet another blog - but this one is devoted to knitting and sewing and any other crafts that I do.

I have been very thrifty today, though. I have a beautiful baby grand-daughter who I look after a couple of days a week while her mum works. And then she comes to stay with me and grandad with her older sister, nanny's best girl, when mum and dad need time off together etc. Anyway, lolly dollypop (as she is known in blogland) has her very own, new cot at nanny and grandad's house, but lacked her own sheets so, today I made two bottom and two top cot-sized sheets out of one king-sized sheet from a charity shop, that cost me only about £2.95! Howzat for thrift, then? And, they are pink, and she's coming to see us tomorrow, so she can try them out.

Well, that wasn't too bad for a first entry, was it?

Currently knitting: a very pink double-knit cardigan for lolly dollypop, and a lilac Hug cardigan for me.
